He had found an old guitar in the seemingly abandoned music wing of the college and against his better judgement, he had taken it with him. Maybe it was a bit foolish to tote around an instrument that was far to delicate and fragile in itself to make a weapon, but those that knew him always said that Chanyeol was nothing short of a fool.

Besides, he figured, he was going to die here. He might as well die doing something he loved (and there were no girls on hand to truly fulfill that wish to it's full extent.) So here he found himself on the top floor of the library, all of the windows open to welcome the cool breeze and air out the scent of dusty, old books, with an acoustic guitar stretched across his lap.

He hummed to himself softly before daring to pluck a string, a smile forming unknowingly on his lips at the sound that rang out. "It's in tune," he commented to himself before setting his fingers down on the neck, hands positioned. He strummed the chord once, twice, before immediately stopping as he heard the sound of a doorknob turning.

"Goodbye," he muttered to himself, beginning to play a song so familiar to his fingers that he didn't have to think about it. As music filled the room, the bookshelf he had pushed in front of the door came crashing down with a loud sound as the books hit the floor.
