krisyeol evaluate the risks of a relationship and dance around it but ultimately decide it's safer to stay friends and there is a lot of bittersweet self-restraint any fluff n__n
crying, it's angst bc they'll go through barely-restrained fights about it and lots of tamping down on chest-bursting longing, but make up sharing a cigarette and kris brushing the bangs off chanyeol's forehead, and after it's all done and they're emotionally exhausted and have settled into being friends there'll always be an aching sense of what ifs and could have beens ok!!
