i started a fic on a whim, paused for a couple hours and now i have no idea what i wanted to do with it. i'm doomed when it comes to writing exo fic, i swear.

a lot of ideas are stuck in my head but i can't get past two sentences. but if there are anons around who want a certain fic/prompt written, sometimes i write within 30 mins. wailt

i didn't even have a full idea either ;o; i just had this really clear image and i wrote that. i expanded on it a little and now it's like. k now what. i can't even write for other people's prompts so kudos to you :(((

i find that i rarely manage to finish fics if i don't finish them in one sitting. coming back the next day or the next week, i've completely run out of steam and it doesn't interest me at all anymore, even if i had the whole rest of the plot/ending all figured out and good to go :/ thus, 10 half-finished wips at the same time

i've had times where i can continue something after a time, but it's rare. i think my other problem is that my ideas tend to be too grand for the amount of time i can focus myself (2-3 hours at most). they're ideas that need more words than i am capable of producing.

ugh that sucks lol, having great ideas but not the ability to make them happen. if they're really big ideas with good plot and many k then i can walk around thinking about it for weeks, and take a long time to write it. and small ones that i can finish in 2-3 hours work, but mid-lenght oneshots tend to never get finished. :/ granted i don't have time for anything lengthy either tho so they don't happen either lol :/

not having the time sucks too, ugh, i'm sorry anon. i unfortunately have nothing but time and i still can't make things happen. u_u ha. haha. but even so, plotting and brainstorming can be fun, there's always that way of looking at it/that's how i make myself feel better about it c:
