i think that will always be the case with foreign languages, at least for me (i swear naturally bilingual people are so lucky). korean is the 3rd foreign language i'm learning and so far i can say i haven't gained the ability to speak smoothly in any situation. sometimes it's like woah i have no idea how to put into words :(
i was raised bilingually and english is my third foreign language and i'm only experiencing this not-able-to-phrase thing with korean and i blame it on my lack of vocabs and not being able to practice regularly. other than that i try to describe what i want to say as well as possible lol ;~; it's just that with korean i can't even do that sometimes which is frustrating
oh lucky then. just practice more! my vocabulary in any language will always lack smth lol plus i can't really describe well, i guess i'm not made for learning languages but sigh it's so fun
little children learn so fast it's amazing. with the right methods you could teach your child various languages up to mother-tongue level until they're like 5~6. lol i find that fascinating. i like learning new languages as well and if you're motivated to learn than anybody can do it anon! the most important thing is to have fun :) once my exams are over i can focus on vocab practice more! i wish you all the best with your korean as well!!
yep that's amazing and i'm really jelly of those kids whore are bilingual or start studying languages early, i started studying english when i was 10 lol it was already too late to dream of mastering the language esp considering that the quality of teaching english in my country sucks balls. but now that i'm learning on my own i can always work on those parts i want to, like listening or reading or building up the vocabs so it's rly fun :) good luck to us \o/
