well i def agree with you on everything, even though i can't really relate to him, bc i feel me and oppar are different where it matters, i.e. mainly the will to pull through things, including the things we like.

if the other members are right, i like the fact the is straightforward about he wants to do/what he doesn't want to do. i mean it can be an off-putting trait, but as someone who never says no even when i want to, i always end-up realizing it would've worked out best for everyone involved if i had just refused from the start. i realize i spend a lot of time comparing the way i do things, to him, idnw to be him bc i couldn't deal, but at the same time i could use some of his bluntness(?)/insensitivity(?) lmao

i def agree that those things could be a positive point too! i was just thinking that even if he seems cute on screen, bts especially when tired his straightforwardness and blunt self must be kinda hard to deal with. i myself becomes unbearable somtimes to people around me and that's why i listed it as one of the negative things. i feel like i tend to be more critical about him than any other members bc he's my bias and i pay a lot more attention to him. but then again thinking about all different traits about my biases makes my stanning experience better imo bc that just makes him realer.

oh anon i def agree with you about how bts that must be tired to deal with. i've mentioned it before (at somepoint talking about kai) but when you listen to the other members talk about him while they have def. said that he can be cute/open etc. mostly you hear that he sleeps a lot, is cold when you first meet him, is blunt, is the first one to say no to going out if he doesn't feel like it/doesn't want to do something, and that he is very quiet. i love oppar to pieces, but i've always thought that these traits can make him very off-putting to interact with at times? but mostly my mind keeps going back to how if he doesn't want to go out to karaoke or something, he'll just say no, and how that might be disheartening after sometime? like i imagine that trait, plus the fact he doesn't express himself that well can occasionally tire ppl out, and since he has apologized for personality a few times now, i think it tires him out too, but ultimately i feel like he thinks these are important parts of his personality that he wants to keep, even if it means that dealing with him is difficult.

yeah and that's why i think he only sticks with a handful of people that gets him / understands him when he's that way. he's also not one to make the initiative to get close to new people and that's why i get excited sometimes when he interacts with his rarepair lol. oh god i just typed out my hc about his interactions with each of the people that he's closest with but it went on for too long so i deleted it lmao i feel like i've never talked this much about him before tonight

and yes, he is very picky about who he hangs with, and i admit to being interested in his seemingly fondness for baekyeol type characters? considering he himself is rather reserved? but i like it, bc i imagine that to maybe be an extension of a possible thoughtfulness to his character, in which he doesn't necessarily understand ppl, but he doesn't mind not understand them either, like bigger then life characters don't threaten him?

/and despite everything i only talk about kai this much on meme, but this is the first time i've talked about this aspect of him, which i like bc how he navigates relationships/idols life and how he feels about them is something i think about a lot ;~;

lol anon it was rambly and incoherent they won't make sense anyway ;; bc it's 5am here and i can't english when i lack sleep (look at my grammar and sentences)

butbut i feel like he comes across as picky bc it's hard for him to click with people that doesn't bode well with his personality. and i feel people like baekyeol who are loud and gets along with everyone would be the most open to accept his moodiness. like they would know when to give him space and at the same time their easygoing personality makes it faster for him to be closer to them bc they don't shy away from his intimidating~ aura. and then there's people like doppar (i do think that they are close) who is quite but willing to listen and takes the time to understand how other people works and. also i feel being the maknae he must've been used to being babied by his noonas and parents that he enjoys being taken care off by the hyungs. and then there's his chingus (taem, sehun, etc) that he can do dumb things with, although taekai is a whole different dynamic that i love so much and could probably write a whole book on them. ugh i'm not making any sense anymore anon i would love to fins you again and talk about him when i'm not running on 2 hours nap ;;;;
