“Hyung? What are you doing?” he asks perplexed, as Jongdae flushes an approximate fifty shades of red.
“I’m writing,” he says, a little too fast to seem natural, and Tao frowns at his response.
“You’re a bad liar, hyung,” Tao smirks, looking at the way Jongdae is clutching his pants and flushed, “did I interrupt personal time for you, hyung?”
“No!” he splutters, even more indignant. But at the same time he wonders if he should just let Tao keep his assumption in order to keep a potential scandal from erupting. Between Tao spreading rumors about him and watching porn, and spreading the truth about him and writing porn, Jongdae knows which one he would pick in a heartbeat.
It doesn’t hurt that the latter would also result in a very dead Jongdae flayed alive by a rampaging Kris.
“So what are you writing then?” Tao asks and Jongdae feels saved by the fact that he sounds less suspicious and simply more curious instead.
“Personal stuff,” he begins slowly, buying time for his brain to think of an actual excuse to use, “personal journals of what I’m feeling. Like for personal reflection and personal stuff, you know for me personally?”
“Oh,” Tao nods in comprehension, “so like what I do on my weibo?”
“Yes,” he replies quickly, “exactly.”
It’s right after he says that, Jongdae feels a little more than paranoid that maybe it was true. That maybe Tao in his completely innocent maknae-façade was secretly writing porn about him and Minseok in a language neither of them could fully understand.
This paranoia hits him in a way that causes him to grab his laptop and bolt straight into his shared room with Kris. He shuts the door and locks it, pushing a box in front of it for good measure.
Breathing hard, he pulls out his laptop and saves all his documents before exiting out of them. He closes out all of his browsers except for one, so that he can read the feedback for another fic he posted just yesterday.
There are 23 new comments, and Jongdae scrolls through them writing back replies like: omo, I’m glad you liked it n___n- and –thank you for commenting. Exo fighting!! :3
Near the bottom of the page he comes across this:
