they are reaching peak form imo

4 yrs ago they came into the tournament (wc 2010) after losing their long time captain and crutch player to an injury as the youngest team at the tournament

ppl kind of wrote them off but then suddenly out of no where this young german team full of nugus stormed over england and argentina and scored a lot in games with 4-0 and 4-1 when most of the other teams were playing tiki taka football where they park the bus after scoring 1-0

the team were super young and really outdid themselves even though they ended up losing to spain who went on to win the championship. they came third and did similarly in the euro cup 2012

now four years later they're back and have key players suffering injuries, but even today with a lot of their older key players out they played well with their makeshift 11

on top of that their style of play is really selfless, like a lot of other teams rely on forwards that will barge through the defense by themselves and try to score, but the german nt will always pass to each other if they think someone else has a better chance

idk i just love them a lot ;; feel free to ask more or abt certain players that catch your eye

very qt talented bunch of youngsters. many of the mainstays you saw in the starting eleven today are only 23/24/25 years old, and they already had experience from euro 2012 and some even from wc 2010 under their belt when they were even younger, so it's a very young but still relatively experienced side.

what first attracted me to the team was their style of play, which is fluid and fast and really beautiful to watch imo, and most importantly the teamwork that occurs. in some of the other teams you see players (esp. forwards and attacking midfielders) that really want to score by themselves/on their own merits, sometimes to the detriment of the team actually gaining a goal. germany on the other hand are all about the team; you could see that multiple times in this game, where some player had a shot on goal (often ozil, he's a big playmaker for the team) but they looked for and/or waited for another team member to get open or run down to meet them and passed to them for a cleaner shot/an easier chance at scoring. that's rly lovely spirit to me, that it isn't about one person scoring a goal but rather about the whole team and it's really clear that all the guys on the team are more focused and cohesive as a group because of it

also there are a lot of hotties ;) most of the team is disney prince status which is great keke
