[Away kit: underarmor everywhere (perhaps to prevent biting accidents??), standard blue and white, but every player has a snapback (not sure how they’re going to win headers with those on) and a matching rikkakuma pin, cute]
• Player Synergy: A well proven attacking duo with a quality centerback should see this team through to next round. However, the complete gap in midfield represents a huge problem. They also seem to be a team that gets things done in short spurts. While the tactic might have worked last year, Park Chanyeol in particular needs to be careful not to invoke Over Time or Penalty Kicks. Lu Han and Kim Minseok will also have to prove their worth after a paltry showing during pre-lims although that might have been intentional.
Out of all the teams, Team B is the most mysterious. No one knows who will be supporting them. No one knows when they will strike. Be on your toes.
• Match Up: As the team with the best attacking unit, they will face problems going against Team C who will park the bus on them and fend them off. It’ll be up to defender Park Chanyeol to step up to the plate and provide some balanced defending and the two attackers to give it all they’ve got to put it in the net. Look forward to a game with plenty of goals and minimal cockblocking as these three slam it in over and over.
• Main concerns/weaknesses: Will they eat each other on the pitch? Serious question here. I worry for Minseok sometimes, but seeing as he’s survived years at Beijing FC with Lu Han, another cannibal on the pitch should barely even faze him.
• If they weren’t a football team, Team B would: be an excellent team of cooks capable of winning Iron Chef: utilizing Minseok’s cooking skills, Lu Han’s keen sense of taste and Chanyeol’s superior reach to grab spices off the top shelf. Please anticipate.
