"You're disgusting," Baekhyun grimaced as he patted down the disheveled hair that Tao's dirty dishrag had disturbed.
"You're the disgusting one! Go shake them hips over to him and ask if he wants a refill. Then you can fill his cup if you know what I mean."
Technically free refills were expressly forbidden by the penny pinching manager. But it was almost closing time and the pot of Americano that was sitting out was probably going to get thrown out anyway. Baekhyun straightened his back and checked his bangs and wiped down his teeth with his forefinger in his reflection on the aluminum pitcher full of ice water.
"Son-nim, would you like a free refill?" Baekhyun asked, turning his eyes into his trademark eyesmile that won him countless dates in the past. He tried to peak over and see what this introverted regular was working on that had him distracted from the sparkling personality and adorable eyesmile in front of him.
The reaction came late, a noticeable beat before the cute customer made a terrified flinch. His hand reflexively swiped across the page he was working on, crumpling it into an unusable ball.
"N-n-no. I think I've had enough."
Still holding the crushed remains of the last hour of work in his fist, he slung his light brown bookbag over his shoulder and shuffled out the door silently. Tossing the paper ball into the umbrella holder by the door.
Baekhyun stood stunned and silent, overwhelmed by repetance. He went over to fetch the discarded paper and opened it up to find a slew of unrecognizable characters.
"Tao! Come here!"
