Whenever Baekhyun spends the night, his mornings start a little...strange. By that, he doesn't mean alien abductions or parties at 6am, or paint in his hair (Ok, but that only happened once). The mornings just aren't his typical lonely mornings when he wakes up on his own, in his own bed, in his own apartment where the only noise comes from the coffee maker and the floors are cold as he makes his way towards the bathroom. Whenever Baekhyun spends the night at Tao's place, there's a sort of soft comfort to the mornings. It's more lively and, if he's being honest, more pleasant. Which Baekhyun isn't, in the mornings at least. From 10am on, he's a party and a laugh but any earlier than that you'll be far pressed to spot his rectangular smile. He's just not a morning person, but his companions are. Whenever Baekhyun spends the night, the mornings are filled with the sweet scent of batter and the soft sound of soothing music, sometimes it's whale calls and other times raindrops. His nose scrunches up when he's greeted with these sounds and he tries to ignore them as he walks past Yixing cooking in the kitchen and Zitao reading in the living room, muttering under his breath as he makes his way towards the restroom. How those two could be so awake, so happy at 7am is beyond him.
