i just tried for part of one of my fics and it seemed pretty updated since it's using google. downside is you can only check 1500w at a time, but it is free.

it actually seems to bypass a lot of that -- like, here, i ran a chunk of the swindlers one just to test (94% original content, according to this, so i think they're in the clear) and it looks like this:



so i don't think it's paying a lot of attention to the character names?
