they run an enormous business, idols are products first and foremost. sm isn't stupid and they're able to control and plan everything down to the last detail, don't think they wouldn't. no business that's as successful as them gets by on being lazy and careless. they know what they're doing even if you don't see the logic behind it, they do. they're the ones with all the knowledge, resources and statistics and you're just the average clueless simpleminded fan.

the entertainment industry is dirty and companies aren't always kind. you think they wouldn't work against their own artist? how naive. look at sony and kesha. hell just look at any artist that's filed a lawsuit against their label. there is a long history of bands being screwed over by those in charge of them. there's no reason to think sm would be any different.
