i'm seeing a lot of hype and excitement, more than what i ever saw for exo at debut, but that's probably because i follow them and their fans. i think the difference is that nct has had mini showcases so we've gotten little bits and pieces since 2013, meaning people are already familiar with them/their name but it's taken so long it's not considered all that new anymore. with exo they started a few months before debut so we got a few teasers and then they debuted, so more people were talking about it because we didn't know what they were capable of or their concept. can't really compare imo
