you're right i guess it's something that's always been natural with cherries but at some point i feel like it spread to i-fandom and that's when i really took note of it although idek how it started! suddenly everyone just had their own fandom names :( i mean i have my own fave member but even so i'm tol through and through so it just sucks to watch especially when oppars go and acknowledge those names :( why can't we all just be exo-l it's such a pretty fandom name too

da speaking of unrealistic goals lmao dumb question maybe but what exactly are "nonshipback" albums? because i see fanbases gearing up for projects like that asking fans to donate and from what i understand it's albums that you pay the money for (via donations) but do i receive the albums as well? or do they just get bought and then collect dust somewhere

suho mentioning bunny citizens in his post from the other day is the first time i've seen it acknowledged by oppars but i might be wrong! either way it's just dumb and annoying i wish we could all just collectively stop it lol

they’re campaigns to buy the stock in stores so albums don’t get shipped back, it’s good for ppl who can’t afford to buy albums but can donate $5/$10. the albums get donated to patients at hospitals or schools usually idk fanbases post proof pics sometimes but i don’t know how reliable they are or if they really donate the albums

imo fans like you and crazy 'we gotta vote for everything fans!!!' suck the enjoyment out of fandom, the latter bc they will fool for any dumb time consuming online poll there is and then harass everyone who doesnt (same with twitter tags etc.) and then there are stans like you 'maaaaaaybe oppars arent on top anymore' idk who you think is on top now or why all exo have achieved and done doesnt qualify them fir a top group in your mind but literally nothing us gonna change my mind that exo are the top and im willing to put my best foot forward for them, i like practical targets like 2mil albums idc how unachievable it seems, id rather high aims that we fall short off than just aiming small so that other fandoms are stans dont say anything

i think dage is the one who actually coined calling his friends elsa's on the exo website a few years ago, bbh fans try to claim eris for just bbh stans but the whole fandom @'s them for it cause exo have all pretty clearly adopted it for the entire fandom and bbh has never made it a point to use it to refer to his own fans

layge obviously acknowledges and celebrates a lot in xingmi and even his akgaes but i can't remember their name

i've seen big suho accounts saying exols don't do shit for suho only bunny citizens care and it's funny cause when i scrolled down a sehun and bbh biased stan were planning how to get suho musical tickets and when they'll meet up. they really don't see how these solos name cause the divide even more, they spend the whole year being like ~bunny citizens this and bunny citizens that~ but as soon as Dinner was released it was EXOLs go stream!! and i'm like "oh now you acknowledge our existence"

when they do updates they say "suho is now at the airport, have a safe flight etc..." and i'm thinking where is suho going alone and then more previews come up and you realise the other members are there as well, it's ughh really? suho wouldn't be the amazing leader he is if he didn't have exo to lead and hype him up, why are you erasing their existence

this rant is getting too rambly but yeh as a tol who makes time for all the members i really hate the solo name culture lately. even though i love all the members i somehow feel excluded when fans call out their fan name. like if someone tweets "well done erigoms, we made a kai hashtag trend" my first thought is "hey i helped too" but then i ask myself "kai is my top tier oppar why do i feel excluded when i see that name?" idk how to explain the feeling, i just like being called an exol and being able to stan all of them whether it's a solo/sub/group schedule

i don't like hs fic either when it didn't bother me at all in the past. but i've been out of hs for years now too and while it was nice, i can't relate to it anymore and it feels kinda weird to read opgers as teens when they're all 24+ and to read about teens in sexual situations, a lot that aren't even realistic. like making opger some sex god when he's seventeen and sex at that age is going to be more awkward, quick, and a learning experience

same here. i enjoyed more fics back then and it sucks that i can't find some the old ones i enjoyed (either locked or deleted). i enjoyed the shows, pics, the overflowing contents from both k and m. nowadays, i just want to avoid as much interaction with other fans

i loved it too when i was in hs but now it makes me cringe lol i think it’s written by teenagers for teenagers tbh
