anons what are your criteria for meeting a guy? recently mine has been just for them to have a car and a career seeing as i'm 27 now and it feels most sensible to find a guy who is decently independent/financially stable and worry about a connection later, but i started a new job recently at a warehouse (meaning any guys i find there probably aren't that educated or financially stable lbr) but my first day of work i had some coworkers make me feel like shit for not being on top of things. my social anxiety was incredibly bad but there was one guy who noticed I was feeling shitty and was willing to help me out and make me feel extremely comfortable. honestly it felt like I was falling for this dude even though he is just your average guy. I find myself really looking forward to seeing him everyday.

the thing is he's 5 years younger than me, i'm not sure if he has his own car (I've seen his sister drive him to work...she has an extremely nice car though) and he wants to go into law enforcement...which means he is going into a dangerous career... Do you guys think I should give him a try or is he too young for me? Is the career he's going into not good because his life will be in danger and it will increase my chances of being widowed or something one day? he has a son too but i honestly don't mind that.

-he's casually invited me to hang out with him and his sister....which i guess could just be a friendly invitation
-he's asked me if i have a boyfriend or a husband....then again ive had female coworkers ask me that same question as well and i know they aren't attracted to me.

i mean, it's ok if u want to date him but don't think about having a long term relationship with him if u are both in different stages of your lives, it's just not meant to work out because at the end of the day you will have different expectation from each other

take things slowly, and honestly, if u are looking for someone to "settle with" try meeting people around your age, you may be looking for the same things then
