dda girl the instrumentals are completely different, they sound alike in that they are slow songs with orchestral elements which build to a crescendo. last time i checked, neither song invented that kind of musical structure

da my first thought when i saw this was that there are actually a few k-rap songs that have similarly stripped back instrumentals which have this kind of rapping style. it's not exactly an unknown or unpopular way of making emotional rap songs.

gd did with untitled 2014 (but that's more singing than rapping lol). there's also a tiger jk song that sounds like this.
