honestly i wouldn't be as irritated by nct's constant comebacks if they didn't represent what seems to be a completely wrong direction for kpop imo. the whole idea of "infinite interchangeable members" sucks

and i know the narrative is that 'oh exo took some time to become popular too' but even before growl exo had already hit 100k+ downloads with more than one single (and mama wasn't exactly public-friendly lol). nct's sales show that people just aren't really having it

they would have done better to debut them later than they did because no one was asking for a new sm bg in 2016 but now with shinee preparing to enlist and exo branching into solo schedules more and more with impending enlistment for suho and dage people probably would have been more receptive

i understand exols being a little miffed and i am a little miffed but nct are also badly handled just in a different way lol
