190722 'What a life' Press Showcase
Junmyeon: I think Sehun&Chanyeol's album is going to be a hit, I'm anxious for them too.
While taking a seat, JM: SH & CY are the tallest members in EXO. I wanted us to quickly sit down on the chairs.
Chanyeol: Suho hyung has great proportions.

Junmyeon: The EXO members really get along well with each other. We've already been together for 8 years.

Junmyeon also said that he has listened to the song a lot of times in the dorm & the car but it seems to sound even better listening to it in a new stage & environment.

Sehun: It's an honour to be given the chance to form this unit. CY hyung & I didn't take the preparations of this album lightly. We put a lot of thought into it so I hope you'll love it lots. I hope many of you will listen to the songs in our album & receive healing & happiness.

Sehun: There was no jealousy between the members. When the members heard the song, they said "The song is great" & "Keep up the good work". (...) I heard that Kai did a reaction to our music video after our concert ended yesterday. Looking at how they cheer on me from behind, --

Sehun: When I first heard the guide for it, I thought that I had to write this kind of lyrics for this song. I talked about it with Gaeko hyung afterwards and then put my ideas into action. The lyrics are really nice. ——

Sehun: When I had some free time to spare, I would read a lot of books and watch a lot of movies and they really inspired me. The first ever movie that I've watched twice was “A Star is Born”.
Chanyeol: This song is one that Sehun gave birth to.

Chanyeol: Sehun used to write what he felt at that particular moment in time in a notebook and I could tell that he from his penmanship that he had quickly wrote down what he felt at that moment. When I had a look at the lyrics, I thought that they were good (...)

Chanyeol: (...) and Gaeko hyung-nim also told us that he thinks a great song could come out of them. And Sehun also participated in the composition of the song.

4th track Borderline is about the ambiguous r/s btwn friends and lovers. Suho said that maknae Sehun loves to cross the line when it comes to his hyungs 🤣🤣

Chanyeol: 'What a Life,' it's about us. Lyrically, it projects our own thoughts, daily lives and ideal lifestyle, as we always try to work hard and play hard. I also had a lot of conversation with Sehun while working on it. We wanted to deliver our positive energy.

Chanyeol: I'd like to thank Sehun, as I've always wanted to try this genre. While all EXO members share great chemistry, I personally liked the one I had with Sehun. I've always thought his voice was very attractive, and I'm very glad that we could finally make this happen.

Sehun: Lee Soo-man (Chairman of SM) actually invited us to a meeting for our album and told us that he loved 'What a Life,' saying that it really befits our personality is so funny and interesting. He said this kind of song was unprecedented under SM.

Sechan: The biggest difference between our collab and group activities is that we got involved in making this album from one to ten and that it shows our genuine sincerity. We trusted each other. It wouldn't have been possible if it were not for our strong bond.

Chanyeol: I especially miss D.O., as his position has always been by my side whenever we perform or attend events like this. But we tried to fill the void of those two members (D.O and Xiumin) at our recent concerts. Xiumin often sends texts to us, and that's a lot of comfort.

they say the seafood there has been found to have unsafe levels which is possible but lbr here the real issue is that korea/japan relations rn are absolutely awful and along with simply being hateful and not wanting jfans to see oppars, kfans also don't want the possible negative press that an extended stay in japan could produce
