that's very young anon, esp since you're still in college. a lot can change until the day you graduate. if your priority/main worry is finding a career rn, i'd recommend looking into the clubs/resources/advisors at your college and see if they can help you ease your mind a little or at least find you a direction. have you looked into co-op programs at your school?

hugs ;; i saw your comment to anons above and my parents were/are also pushing me into finance but ig i got lucky enough that i picked an undergrad in something i ended up really loving and was...willing to fight for?

ihni if you like finance or not tho. also! finance is honestly a pretty broad area and does pay very well. like, i interned in two positions that were both called the same thing, at the same company, basically in the same group on the same floor....but was doing vastly different things. my supervisor also said that what he did as an intern was completely diff from what he was doing then, and halfway into my second term, he actually moved companies into another completely diff position. what i mean is! even if you do go along what your parents want, if you don't hate it completely, there's actually a lot to choose from haha
