they've been close since before debut. i know that suho and sehun were the only koreans that tao was close to before exo was formed. i always thought that suho probably went out of his way to talk to tao like he did with baekhyun because tao didn't really have anyone else.

i don't have any sources aside from things that they've said in various interview or at parties and things like that. tao's birthday party made it really really obvious which members were close to him at that time (right after debut) and which ones weren't.
