da but i suck at russian grammar, i just speak it but idk the rules. you always use у if it's paired with меня/тебя/него/нее afaik, especially at the start of the sentence. i'm saying different sentences in my head rn without у and it sounds so strange because it means at or by. sorry i suck anon /o\
