lol its so interesting reading those two anons' dialogue about private/public uni because in my country it's completely different, people are considered smarter if they go to public school and bc its apparently easy to get a scholarship (i didnt manage to tho) you are considered superdumb if you pay a lot for your education. i used to get a lot of shit from some teachers just because i was a special unlucky snowflake paying shitloads of money and because of that they thought i was dumb as hell. oh well
it's the same in my country o/ it's the smarter ones who get into gov/public unis and the... less smarter (or the ones who aren't as good at rote learning (i'm a little pissed with the education system can u tell)) who get into the expensive, private unis
the standard of education is more or less the same in either uni tho
