one of the main reason things like the talent show and k-pop's night out went well was because the people they had for it, don't work for k-con. they work for anime expo and are in charge of their dance's and their k-pop dance competition. like, while this year anime expo's dj for their dances sucked (too much electro not enough actual music), the events that they organized (the kpop dance contest and the actual dances themselves) were very organized.

it was probably k-con's decision that you only won a t-shirt if you won the talent show, because at anime expo if you got first place from their kpop dance contest, you got $300
