geger brought siwon to meet his mother, who treated siwon like an adopted son apparently, and siwon decided they would become sworn brothers (and this is siwon so you know he takes that eyeroll inducing shit seriously and thats the closest youll ever get to an admission of the 'mo from him.) and that empress happy camp episode where siwon came and it was sfing emotional. and all the touchy feely and ass groping. they definitely were super super close, especially around sj-m's first album

but it was heavily rumoured that smth soured in how siwon was being treated by management versus how geng was and that eventually became a breaking point? iirc, maybe someone with receipts and better informed can summarise. and then how geger handled the contract business, not talking at all to anyone probably drove a wedge (kyu was openly super pissed iirc, and he was probably third or fourth closest to empress over all).

siwon is not like heechul in that he toes company line and also is not as open in manipulating fan delusion to maximise his own fandom (heechul having a teary breakdown at the first chinese concert post the contract business where the hanchul psychotic contingent was strongest was no accident). but still, i find it REALLY strange that no mention of them communicating at all has been made, by either party, so maybe something bad did happen there.

OR. siwon was one of the few people who knew in advance or took it better and communicated about it properly and theyve just kept on being good friends on the dl. hanners did say in a magazine ages and ages ago he keeps in contact with two sj members and his personal psycho stans apparently believe those two are likely ryeowook and siwon. (alol at heechul being a fake fuck if thats true) idk, man, idk.
