(Anonymous) 2014-07-09 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)park chanyeol would call himself a masochist, a real fucking masochist. what else would you call someone looking at a wall of pictures, polaroids, of your first love with your first love's love of their life. a projected wall no less. he had the powers to project anything ingrained in his brain onto any kind of surface. sometimes a blessing, sometimes a curse. but that's the average life of a magician for you.
kim minseok is park chanyeol's first love and minseok would never find out because chanyeol beamed himself onto another planet before causing damage. beaming sounds so hilarious and star trek-y but he can't find another word to describe it and he has never watched star trek so star trek-y might also be a false comparison.

{flashback; kim minseok-central life}
"park chanyeol! please come downstairs. let me introduce you to a very special person." chanyeol almost broke his legs while bumping into his desk. he ran down the newly-made stairs, making his way to minseok.
there he was, lu han, soccer star of seoul university, next to his best friend who has never smiled so wide before. "hey, chanyeol. i think you know lu han, right? he's on my soccer team and well, he's kind of more than just a teammate. i mean, i..." minseok stuttered, and lu han snorted beside him which got him a slap on his arm.
"hi, my name is lu han and i am minseok's boyfriend!" he said and bowed a perfect 90 degrees.

"i need to stop thinking about them," he murmurs to himself, bowing his head. the projection of their polaroids is still working, but chanyeol keeps thinking about that one time he kissed him on the cheek himself and their other meaningful (at least to him) moments for the whole night.
the next day, he visits his parents. they taught him the chants to make himself beam to other planets, but never have they thought he would actually use them. they were overjoyed to see him, and they still are. they are running one of the planet's most prestigious magician schools and they offered him a a job as a teacher and chanyeol had declined at that time, but now he's on his way to accept and finally start his new life, maybe even find a new love.
as always, he's not paying attention to what is going on in front of him, typing away on his MP (magic phone, how original...) until he stumbles into someone.
"oh wow, i am so sorry." chanyeol mumbles out an apology.
"it's okay, no harm done, but maybe you should pay more attention to your surroundings next time." chanyeol looks at him and is almost blinded by the stranger's beautiful heart-shaped smile.
