i get where jimmy's coming from and rewarding cool shit is ideal but the thing is, anons are completely aware of the point system and what characteristics garner more points. they could use their time to do something that will earn a lot of points but they choose not to and opt for something creative. if they're so concerned with points, idt they'd do this. some anons just dgaf about points

it's way more about scoring this year than it was last year. even the scoring system is designed that way. before anyone wanks on this, i'm not saying it's bad, it's just a totally different environment.

da yeah everything is points points points this year and last year i felt like anons were more creative for the sake of being creative and constantly coming up with new means of expression (like the dance cover or the vocaroos when they were first posted an stuff)

i mean, idk what anons want mods to do about it since it's anons fault anyway lmao they're the ones focusing on the pts rather than the creativity? mods created the system based on anons' demands and this is what they got.

and it's a different environment because anons made it that way based on their experiences in hgau. hgau set the precedent lol the reason why anons are so anal about this whole thing is partly because of what happened in hgau

ia, a few vocally butthurt anons messed with things during the planning stages instead of just letting it happen.

props to mod for trying to keep the peace with demanding anons but i think too many whining anons led to a really complicated system that tried to keep everyone happy.
