idk i feel like i should say quality =/= creativity. so what some anons are complaining about on this page are not "poor quality" works but the lack of diversity

da but what type of lack of diversity? as in the content or the way in which the works come in? as in toops, vacoros(?), fanvids etc?

anons just gonna snap at me for comparing last year to this year and ~implying it can't be as good~ but i mean the ways in which the works come. part of the novelty of hgau was seeing all the different creative things people came up with because it was unexpected. this year we expected it so it has a different vibe. wcau isn't necessarily worse for it imo though

oh okay i see what you're saying, but ig to me this reasoning just seems a bit nostalgic? and i don't completely get it but ig that's bc i was expecting wcau to be different since we would already know what type of work we'd want to do but yeah

it is, definitely. we'd never be able to replicate hgau because the spontaneity of it all is what made it. we'll come out of wcau with some positives and negatives just like hg.
