oh man at our store you can literally get away with aNYTHING because we're all about guest experience and it's infuriating but i have to remind myself that it doesn't affect me, if they want to lose that money it's on them.

people assuming you know exactly what they want when they don't say anything is the fucking worst. my coworker got a complaint the other day because someone brought something up to her, asked why one doll was on clearance and not the other. she answered, and said "is there anything else?" and they left and then called the store complaining. at work there was this lady who was clearly in a rush to gtfo of the store so i rang her up quickly/asked for coupons but she wasn't paying attention while on her phone and it's not until she already paid that she realized she didn't give me her coupon so i had to call a manager all the way to the register which took him about 2 minutes to get there

and she ended up saving not even 50 cents

i'm working at a health club (filling in for mom who just had surgery) morning i serve breakfast after people do morning exercise. old people are nice and tell me to take my time and sometimes ask how my mom is doing but middle aged women always rush me or complain about food being cold or skip line or don't clean up after themselves. god i hate being ordered around >:(
