lol anon i once had a lady return, in our huge christmas bags, over $1000 worth of clothes.

and then turn around and buy $300 more right then. apparently she works for a casting director to be fair but it's not unusual to have whole families dropping $300 at once on clothes.

i just did that /o\ in my defense it's because i needed internship appropriate clothes and my ripped jeans/hoodies were not going to cut it

the store i work at periodically has sales and it's pretty family friendly in price and selection so people will come in and buy clothes for trips or school all at once

my eyes have been opened lmao i never paid attention to other peoples' shopping habits but thinking about it, it does sound very reasonable! lol ig it's bc i never have enough money to buy more than like 2 shirts u_u

yeah same. i go on like one big shopping trip a year and even then i'd come home with one pair of jeans, one shirt, one sweater...
