if you're the targetnon i only use our big bags for stuff like towels or big toys, it's much easier to neatly bag in the medium bags. even if people want to keep the hangers i take them off and then put them in the bag after i'm done for ease.

not a target non! we basically only have 3 bag sizes (ones for jewlery, ones for like t-shirts/jeans folder, and one big size for everything else) so if it's like 5+ things they're going to go in the big size anyways and it's faster to just fold the clothes over the hanger so that they don't snag against the bag than it is to remove the hangers from the items since a lot of the clothes have those stupid little strings you slide around the top of the hanger to keep them from falling off

ahhhhh i see. do you ask people if they want the hangers or not? then you're not relying on people being considerate enough to tell you what they want from you.

i do. but with this lady, i asked if she wanted to keep them and she didn't say yes or no when i asked or even while she saw me putting them in the bag already until i was halfway through her order

there's like five questions we have to go through while ringing people up and usually people are quick to respond but the ones that get under my skin are the people that will just put their stuff down and not even speak while you're talking to them and just kind of grunt at me and then they don't say a word until they realize i can't read their mind and didn't know that a shirt that rang up as $20 should be 12.99
