in a broad, general viewpoint, retail is awful. but that doesn't mean every store is awful or every place. there's nice stores to work in and nice places to work, but no matter what, you will get bad customers.

it's not all bad and usually what makes up for horrendous people are your coworkers (though sometimes they're awful too u_u) just remember, there are amazing and kind people along with the worst assholes to ever exist

awww, anon, if you wanna do it, do it! it really helps to shape your perspective and how you treat others and there are some really nice and interesting people you'll meet, even if youll only see them for five minutes.
there are a lot more neutral people than you think, it's just the bad that sticks out in our minds
