da but anon the fact that these female characters are underused doesn't negate the treatment of sakura's character, which is well within op's right to criticize. obviously you don't like sakura and it shows but to tell anon that they shouldn't talk about sakura in relation to the topic of 'underused female characters in naruto' because you don't feel that as a character she's underused doesn't make it true. all anon said was that she thought that sakura being saved/passive so much this arc was a shitty use of her character.

i'm not under the impression that op was trying to make a competition btw sakura vs. the rest of the female characters in naruto, like you were so eager to do, op was just saying they thought it was shitty that sakura was pretty passive/saved all the time this arc and while you might interpret that differently or you might not care about that because you don't like her, it doesn't suddenly mean it doesn't deserve or merit any discussion at all, particularly when the kind of attention and development a female character gets can be very side-eye worthy when you compare how the main male cast get treat (in this case sakura + sasuke, naruto)

no, anon said that they believed sakura was underused in this arc, and that all she's doing is being passive and being saved by kakashi or naruto. that is not true though, because sakura is a major part of this arc, not only with her healing, but also just her presence. the fact that she is there during such an important arc (the revelation of sasuke/naruto being related, obitio turning over a new leaf again, obitio and kakashi fighting side by side) as well as her using her abilities to the best of them once again (saving obito from near death, and being able to enter kaguya's dimmenson, fighting madara as well, and manually saving naruto when using her own chakra isn't enough) show that sakura is not being underused nor is she being passive

had they said it about any other female during this arc, then i would've agreed, but when you look at the actual manga. as in what is actually happening, sakura is not being underused, nor is she being passive and she certainly isn't just being saved by kakashi or naruto and being useless throughout the rest of the arc. sakura has proved to be a very important character during this entire arc, and once again reemerging as the main character and main female figure of the series

sakura is not being underused during this arc. you can go "oh you hate her so you can't see what anon is seeing", i may dislike her but i can't see what anon is saying because it isn't true. sakura is demonstrating all of her skills to the best of her abilities in this arc and is ultimately showing why she is such a major character in the first place. she is not being underused in this arc, and without her the god damn main character of naruto would be dead
