Jongdae and Kyungsoo sit on the rooftop of the former’s apartment complex watching the stars and the moon in the darkness of midnight. Well, as dark as a metropolitan city, what with its illuminated skyscrapers and street lights, can get.

They’re drinking, even though neither particularly likes it. But Jongdae had thought it would be funny to drink up some of his dad’s stash and Kyungsoo had agreed. He looks over at the boy next to him, watching how the brightness reflecting from the lights illuminates his features.

In a word…

Jongdae is beautiful. Soft dark hair that he likes running his hands through. Half moon shaped eyes, orbs deep yet light in contrast to his hair. Creamy white skin that is soft to the touch. Pouty full lips that look red from all the biting he does on them and the sexiest jaw line Kyungsoo has ever seen. Not only that, he is probably the best kisser he’s had the opportunity to encounter.

So he tries to convince himself that that’s why he’s sitting on a rooftop at 2:30 in the morning drinking a Jack Daniel’s that he doesn’t like, when he has to be awake at seven in the morning to be at his job that he has to take a one hour bus ride to get to.

Jongdae nudges him, waking him from his contemplations and points downward. Down on the street below them are two guys walking around like they’re either stoned or drunk or probably both, singing a folk song at the top of their lungs. He watches as Jongdae tilts his bottle, splashing a good dose of the hard liquor on the duo. They are too gone to care, and it might as well be pee that’s raining over they’re heads at the moment, and they continue staggering down the street, after looking up and not seeing anything.

Jongdae laughs, highly amused with himself, and Kyungsoo scoffs, asking himself just what exactly is he doing with a guy like him.

They met when Jongdae walked into the mechanic repair shop Kyungsoo worked at. He had brought in his silver Porsche that no seventeen year old should be aloud to drive. Wearing his school uniform and a snarky attitude, he had explained his situation briefly to Kyungsoo expecting to be attended right then and there.

‘Stupid rich boy’ was what Kyungsoo had thought.

What he had said was he’d have to wait a couple of days for the repairs to be done. When Jongdae had complained that he could not wait that long, Kyungsoo simply answered that he could take his car elsewhere if he didn’t like how he did things.

Jongdae had looked taken a back, tilted his head to the side, examined him carefully and after throwing him a smirk, turned around and walked out. Kyungsoo had gone back to work as if nothing, but could not get the boy’s face out of his mind. He figured they were about the same age since he was also in high school. Except he didn’t go to some fancy private school or drive an expensive car. In fact, Kyungsoo didn’t have a car; despite being around them all afternoon after getting off school.

He had sized him up immediately. The type of guy, who has the world in his hand, knows it and treats it like his playground. So when Jongdae came back a couple of days later to pick up his car, if you could call a one hundred and fifty thousand dollar automobile a car, and thanked him with a smile and a wink, he had not been amused. He had rolled his eyes at the boy’s displays and gone back to work.


But when he got off work, with his body aching and wanting nothing but a hot shower and a warm meal, there was that silver Porsche, its owner leaning against the hood, outside in the parking lot. “What are you doing here?” he had asked dumbfounded, since he had left almost an hour ago and he was the one closing the shop for the day so there was no one else he could be waiting for.

Jongdae had shrugged his shoulders and looked at him amusingly. “Oh, I don’t know. I thought I’d ask my mechanic out for a drink.”

Kyungsoo had raised his eyebrows. This guy had to be delusional. “Really? Do I look like I can’t afford my own drink? Is this you’re idea of charity?” he had asked sarcastically.

The other had chuckled and shook his head. “Actually I was wondering how many drinks it would take to get you drunk enough to get you out of your work clothes and let me fuck you” he had said grinning and without an ounce of embarrassment or shame.

Kyungsoo had just stood there, too stunned to say anything and thinking ‘Does this guy think he can just say something like that and make it happen?’

Apparently, he could.

It had taken a couple of more tries but, eventually, Jongdae did get to see him without his work clothes on. But he had been the one getting fucked, not the other way around.

Kyungsoo laughs lightly as he reminisces on how they met. Jongdae shoots him a questioning look with his eyes asks him to let him in on the fun. But he doesn’t answer, shaking his head and takes another sip from the bottle. He’s gotten to know Jongdae over the last few weeks and has learned that his initial suspicions about him were all true.

He is a spoiled rich boy that lives in the pent house of a luxurious apartment building. Kyungsoo’s whole apartment, which he shares with his brother, fits inside of his kitchen alone. He is sarcastic, snarky, selfish and probably the most egocentrically focused person Kyungsoo has ever met. He is gorgeous and knows it, constantly using it to his advantage to get whatever he wants. He has all the money in the world and all the chances for a future that Kyungsoo has to work his ass off to get, yet he doesn’t use them.

Kyungsoo suddenly feels like he’s wasting his time on something that has no future, someone who isn’t worth it. He slowly stars to get pissed at himself more than at Jongdae and just considers taking off because he can’t seem to stand it anymore.

But Jongdae, as if sensing his uneasiness, puts his hand on his, making him look at him. He takes the bottle out of his hand and sits closer until his breath, a mix of the liquor, strawberries and his own unique scent, is hot on Kyungsoo’s mouth, his hands are in Kyungsoo’s hair, their lips are inches apart and Jongdae’s eyes are filled with want and another emotion Kyungsoo can’t exactly give a name to. Or at least not yet anyways, it’s too soon and too unrealistic for that. But as their lips meet, teeth crashing forcefully, tongues sliding slowly and Jongdae lets Kyungsoo taste his mouth, Kyungsoo remembers just exactly what he is doing with Jongdae.
