da i think it'd be difficult for him to transition in the eyes of the public. once you're an idol, that's all you're seen as. even jay park still gets that image in the k-hip hop community

that's because jay was basically kicked out of korea and is a terrible rapper. i think th at because of yongguk's previous history as an underground artist, as well as his own talents he could make a smooth transition, if he were to do it amicably and not like leave bap in a mess

da he's not actually that great of a rapper. good yes, but not super remarkable

neither him nor zelo actually have anything that a ton of k-underground rappers don't already have

it would be much tougher for him there, but it would probably make him happier
