i never even finished the hp series but i know how to enjoy au's where my faves go to magical school and get into adventures. ig you don't like the fantasy school setting much

i got tired of hp aus fast. a vignette or two for me was okay, just enough for a glimpse of what might've been (my forever hp au fave is the xiuhan rebuilding hogwarts one w/c made great use of the source material). i'm kind of sorry that i can't get into long hp aus though i enjoy the universe - i felt for some fic the hp setting was unnecessary and they could've told the same story w/o it, felt like normal school aus to me
