just to be clear, i don't think it's that they are homophobic, but that it could be more likely that they are.
it's like with brojobs. i feel like they're ok with doing fanservice bc they think of it as just a tool bc it's not like a 'real' relationship with 'real' feelings, but the moment they'd be faced with homosexuality as a reality, they'd take a step back and be all "no" like siwon. and partly bc (and this is more personal), i feel like if you really respect homosexuality, you'll do the fanservice w/o being all gay chicken about it (ex. jjongtae internet war vs. [and this is just an example] xiuhan gee kiss), bc the gay chicken, even if it can be cute, still stinks of slight homophobia bc someone shirks away. and opgers are more of the latter kind. :/
