tumblr's call out culture does nothing to actually combat marginalization and oppression, it's just for people to feel a sense of superiority over others whilst shaming others for what they like

i like that we have actual dialogues about these issues when they come up but blogs like the one linked does nothing of that sort

da yes, this. the labeling is reductive and adds nothing to discussion, which is particularly evident when you get to an issue as thorny and complex as colorism for example
