anons i've been gone for a long time, can i ask what happened to lay? is he not a part of exo anymore? i don't see him in the season greetings or the new release. is he a solo act now?

have you heard of thaad anon? there was (a lot of) tension between ch and sk. lay (and i assume sm) opted for him to stay in china this year and pursue solo activities to avoid any conflict. it's also why exo has had no concerts in china this year. he's a youth embassador and due to his popularity a lot of eyes were on him (he received a lot of hatred for being tied to a sk group). however even recently oppars and lay have given each other shout outs, and cbx visited hong kong and met up with him. whether this means he'll be back.. who knows
