i don't want to give any of these people attention but they're dictating how new kpop fans see opgers and i hate it lol, i've had friends get into opgers over the past year and say how surprised they were at their personalities bc they've been told all these horrible things and were expecting opgers to be rude

this is exactly what bothers me, when they are fighting and lying amongst other kpop fans i just shrug cause everyone knows what they are like now, a lot of big fandoms have experienced their fair share of army drama and know what to believe or where to do fact checking. but new people don't and that first impression sticks with you for a long time. i especially hate it when they spew these lies to official social media accounts who don't have time for fandom fuckery, i really hope fenty wasn't put off kai because of them
