allow me to explain how the bonus points this round work,

for each category toop/fic/fanart there was 20/40/30 points to be won respectively (i altered the toop/fic ratio once i saw that anons were primarily focused on fic and that there were only a total of 3 toops today)

how much each team won from these was based off point ratios (ie team lay's toop points/total toop points for the day) and vice versa, if they had more than 65% of the total ratio then all the points would go to their team.

if it was less than the points were split (ie toop points were carved 50/50)

with exception with fic which was determined by word count totals

tl;dr- it was completely and unnecessarily complicated, but i thought it would be more fair...

so the bonus points ended up being carved so that one team got 10 points more than the other and the original point gap between the two is less than that

therefore if i choose to keep the bonus points in...one lives, but if i choose to take them out...the other does
