if you're interested in the short and british aspect then i'd highly recommend luther. if you're interested in the sherlock holmes aspect then elementary is good

i would recommend elementary over sherlock actually; i like lucy liu's character a lot and the fact that american tv shows tend to have longer seasons than british allows for more character development in elementary makes me rly happy as well

ah ok. it's not bad! i really enjoy it sometimes and find it dumb other times (mostly still watching for martin freeman's face) there's some problematic stuff in it, but all in all it's pretty enjoyable and easy to watch (and im not a tv person)
