da but me too! i have plenty of pleasant people in my lines and i rly love how excited some people get when they're talking about buying clothes for a trip of because they lost weight and are just happy to be there and will kindly point out if something is wrong

but ugh the ones that act like you should know every price or every item in the store or the ones that want u to give them a discount that you know doesn't exist or has expired weeks ago

it's not all bad and usually what makes up for horrendous people are your coworkers (though sometimes they're awful too u_u) just remember, there are amazing and kind people along with the worst assholes to ever exist

awww, anon, if you wanna do it, do it! it really helps to shape your perspective and how you treat others and there are some really nice and interesting people you'll meet, even if youll only see them for five minutes.
there are a lot more neutral people than you think, it's just the bad that sticks out in our minds

yeah that's rly nice u__u i mean i work in a big box store so i don't get a lot of personal interaction with people like that but i love the people who genuinely ask me about my day and the people who actually talk to me or treat me like i'm their equal

but then the rude people, the couponers who force my hand and walk all over me because our store lets them. the people who try to scam us. the people who don't even fucking talk to you when you say "hi how are you doing?" or the people who get mad over $0.50 are so much worse than any nice person is nice

i worked in a hotel doing banquets and its one of my favourite jobs i ever had. i miss the $2.50 meals and free desserts

i just left my job as a cake decorator and don't get me wrong, i love decorating cakes, but i never knew people could get so angry about cakes until i worked in a bakery.

also we had a 200% return policy, so if you didn't like your cake or there was something wrong with it, not only did you get your money back, but you got a new one for free.

i can't tell you how many people brought back like one fucking piece of cake and were like, "it was dry i hated it"

and then we have to make them a new one. :\

bonus: a guy backed me up against the donut case once screaming at me because we didn't have a certain kind of donut anymore and how fucking DARE we those were his FAVORITE!!!
