i'm really sorry about that anon but i'm not belittling you, i think there's more than one perspective here in her case specifically and i'm not okay with the media latching onto this when her sister herself hasn't been able to get her word out (last i checked)

your perspective is the one that lena dunham has, and that so many people have about the sexual abuse of teenagers and children receive at the hands of other teenagers and children by saying "just teenagers being gross" it's just like "boys will be boys"

no. that's not okay, they are old enough to know what they're doing is wrong, they are old enough to know that the things they're doing are unacceptable. this is not something that needs to be brushed off as "just her being a teenager", especially when she literally says she was conditioning her sister

i'm not saying that, i'm saying that what she's done is fucking far from excusable or acceptable (sorry that my usage of the word glosses over gross but i'm only using it as a generalizing term rn) but imo it just speaks of a bigger problem where kids need to be taught better

i get that there are smart teens but this is not a universal experience at all even when you're thirteen. definitely not something to be brushed off yes. havent read the part about conditioning so i'll back off there
