i wish sm would just admit m is gone now and xiuchen use their names instead of chinese stage names. that would help them establish a more solid korean public recognition with k as the 8 korean members of exo. and just tell fans that lay will focus in china so don't get so butthurt when they don't see his name on some endorsements or in japan. geger is doing well on his own anyway

+1 maybe fans will stop insisting that xiuchen should promote as m in china like it's a good idea

i don't think changing their stage names would do anything except bring their level of recognition down. if people barely know them as xiumin and chen how are they going to recognize kim minseok and kim jongdae

da there's also like two other, admittedly less popular, kim minseoks in the industry. xiumin and chen are actually pretty cute names with decent recognition already, i think they can keep them tbh ;;

no but i mean them keeping the chinese stage names brings them to why they have such names when they are korean and having to explain the old concept of k + m over again. think of this when dealing with new fans, you had to explain that once upon a time they were 2 subgroups but not anymore bc of the bs. and we don't want to start with the past all the time. exo as a brand needs some reorganization that's how they can make new contracts for 8 or 9 people whether cfs or shows

i think m's dead anyway they don't need to announce it but just let xiuchen use their real names for solo activities. doppar does idk why they cant and that's the only thing that annoys me tbh

xiumin is catchier and for some reason he suits it and it works in korea for him. his kfans seem fond of it too. his real name is so common him promoting as xiumin is better for him

chen's case is different but he's only had music related jobs so chen is still the better choice for him now and will still be the better choice when he releases his solo album if he ever does. maybe when he goes into acting
